Well, here we are. After years of people suggesting to me, 'You should do a blog', and me saying no I don't really have time and what would I say, I've finally gone and done it.

Welcome to Threaders Boutique Journal.

I am Alison, and I am the owner of Threaders Boutique from Fleetwood, Lancashire for the passed 14 years. What started as a small side hustle in the spare room has grown into a proper studio that I am genuinely proud of. I do dtf printing, occasionally htv printing but I am mainly passionate about the embroidery. I specialise in workwear, personalised gifts, team kits, you name it, I've probably stitched or printed on it.

Based on the Esplanade in Fleetwood with views across Morecambe bay over to The lake district the studio is nestled between a busy row of shops, café and amusement arcade. I love having my studio here, the people know what they are looking for and when they find someone they trust, they stick with them. A lot of customers have been coming back for years and I have made a lot of friends, and that means everything to me.

So what is this blog actually going to be about?

Honestly a bit of everything? I want to share some of the projects I am working on, talk about the craft side of what I do (there's more to embroidery than you realise), answer the questions I get asked most often. and occasionally just share what's going on at the studio.
